We are doing 2-3-4 and naps on the go either don't happen or are very short (she won't sleep more than 30 minutes in the car). I try to make it home for naps as much as possible because she's a hot mess in the evening with a 30 minute afternoon nap. I also try to save the longer errands/park trips/etc for the long awake stretch before bedtime.

Sometimes we are out and that afternoon nap either gets pushed back or she sleeps for maybe an hour & won't sleep anymore...which leads to a stressful evening.
