<description>&#60;p&#62;Depends on what it is, but I find sealing it up on ziplock bags and letting it sit in a cool water bath is the quickest way to thaw something safely.

<description>&#60;p&#62;depends what? if i need ground turkey for tacos, i just cook from frozen - chicken breasts, the other night i put in a bowl of cold water and they defrosted fully within the hour! prob 45 min or so.
