And btw, I combo feed too to lessen the stress. We started with enfamil- but the smell grossed me out. There are so many things I worry about, but the ingredients in Formula aren't one of them!</p> <p>Don't feel guilty about FFing your daughter (I know, easier said than done) The important thing is that your baby is fed - how she is fed is just secondary :-) Fearless Formula feeder website was extremely helpful to me in combatting the mommy<br /> guilt. She gives info on different types, how to prepare, how to feed, etc. she also reviews all of the research critically. I had similar concerns about the things you stated, and ended up choosing Earth's Best Organic (off Amazon). But I do know a co-worker who did pretty extensive research when she stopped BFing and switched to formula. I think she ended up deciding on Earth's Best.</p> <p>P.S. I have supplemented from day one. It was/is the best thing for my daughter. She is 20 months and we are STILL BFing. Go us! We eat fairly clean, and like to avoid processed foods. But, quite frankly, I had no choice. I had chronic low supply, so it was my only option to keep my child fed. So far, she's never been sick and has reached her milestones, early. We use Similac advanced ready feed from Sam's club because she didn't like the powder mix one.
