Ugh. DD1 always comments on the things she sees (recently it's been the new line of Cabbage Patch dolls Target is promoting, and some horse stable for their faux American Girl dolls, which she is convinced houses real live horses). I don't take her over there though, and always just tell her that if she sees something she really likes, she can remember it for her birthday and tell Grandma. My husband takes our 3 year old to look at the tv's and then they go to the toys and he picks something out and usually plays with it while I take my 9 month old around and shop. Do you avoid the toy department? Or do your LOs make you stop? If you stop, doesn't it delay you for a while until you can get them to leave?
