With my son, I felt really obvious twinges, first something like being poked in the side with a knitting needle, then really strong cramps a few days later - lightning is a pretty good description! I figured next time I get pregnant, I'll recognize the feeling right away, but nope. It was just strong period cramps the next time, and I lost that pregnancy very early. And then bad period cramps again the third time, so I was going out of my mind waiting for the other shoe to drop... wrong again, I'm hoping to meet that baby in the summer.

It felt like I was going to get my period, but stronger and deeper if that makes sense.

It felt like a slight pulling on the left side of my uterus. This may have been the cyst that formed after conception but either way I was right that something was different and I did get my BFP.

I felt a split second almost burning pinch at 9dpo. I dunno if it was implantation or not, but it was unusual. I got a squinted bfp the next day.

Mild little tugging has continued in the same spot...
@twodoghouse: whoa that sounds intense! With DS it was sharp but not like that.

I had extremely painful cramps that felt like my side was screwing up, if that makes sense? It last about an hour. I don't know if it was so intense because two were implanting? I got a very distinct positive three days later in the afternoon. I was 9dp3dt and the time I tested positive, but again, I was pregnant with twins. Good luck!! I am hoping so hard for you!!

For me it was a rhythmic cramp that felt completely different from regular cycle cramps. It was so persistent and lasted about three days.

With all of my pregnancies (LO1, chemical, and this one), I had a strong pinching/pulling sensation that only lasted a few minutes on my side, at 7-8dpo. It was enough to make me stop what I was doing and I definitely felt "something". After that feeling, the next few days every once and awhile I would feel more pulling. Good luck!!

Similar to @hilsy85: I had some light, but noticeable, cramping, around 7 dpo I think. It was a weird time for cramping and it felt lower down than where I usually have menstrual cramps. Plus I was obsessing and symptom spotting like crazy, but this was definitely there. Lasted I think two days on and off though.

This time, nothing.

No idea if that's what it was, but I felt very fain cramping on 5 and 6dpo--like very faint AF cramps. And I had never had any sort of cramping like that without it being like the day before AF was due or the first day of AF.

What did it feel like and when was it? With my son, I had super sharp pinches, like lightning, on 7dpo. In July of this last year soon after we started TTC, I felt similar and then started a little spotting- I was convinced I was pregnant but then I got a bfn. I still think something was trying to happen... Anyway, fast forward 10 months and 2 miscarriages later, today on 7dpo, I felt something similar. Quick little pinches deep down in my uterine area. Then gone.
