Like, I had 3 college friends who I'd still invite as guests but not have as bms. And the moh and I don't live in the same place anymore, so she'd probably be a guest. And I'd add someone from grad school who I hadn't met then but is one of my best friends now. I got married at 22 hand have been married for 8 1/2 years. I great apart from many of my friends from high school and college, part of getting married young and not being out partying every weekend. All of Ms groomsmen are still part of our lives, but we would likely have a smaller party.</p> <p>As a wedding photographer I see all kinds of wedding parties. Not to hugely generalize but usually the younger the client the bigger the wedding party. I regretted parts of my wedding party a few weeks before the wedding! We only had 3 each, dh would have the same, I would have to rethink mine. I grew really close to a friend during the wedding planning who helped out a ton- unlike my bridal party who did NOTHING. We had a 3 mo engagement because I wanted my grandfather and my friend to be there (she had metastatic cancer and was in remission). I'm glad we didn't wait.
