I have a Kia Sorento, and I'm sure we could fit 2 carseats in the back. My husband's truck has a pretty big backseat as well. We just couldn't ever have anyone else ride with us. And trips to the mountains with us and the dogs would be a full car load. As someone else mentioned, we'd have to rethink things in the house though. The bedroom we have set aside for a nursery is pretty small. We had a focus and a ridge line, neither of which are suitable for three little ones. We ended up getting a Pilot. The rainier we have for Jack is supposed to fit fine with two Chicco Keyfits all in the second row. If it becomes an issue we'll move J to the back row but I'm hoping we don't have to so that we can keep the third row down for strollers and such. I can't wait for your FET! I bought a smaller SUV when LO1 was born. We have another on the way but just one, not twins. It works out great for our family of four + dog. It was VERY, VERY tight, but it did work, (even with the double stroller). Ended up buying a CRV after that, and we have been a lot happier! You can totally do it with a CRV, even if you DO go on road trips! Just buy a couple of cheap umbrella strollers so you don't have to pack the double. That'll free up plenty of room! GL on your FET!
