I had a chemical in February at 5 weeks, and then got pregnant again (with no true period in between), but then that turned out to be a chemical as well. I'm now waiting one cycle to get a real period since I haven't had a true one since January (have just had both instances of m/c bleeding), and then we'll start TTC again. I had a chemical pregnancy on cycle 2 at 5w3d and I found it to be such a weird thing to process, and even talk about with anyone other than DH. I had never even heard of a chemical pregnancy before my OB said that was what happened...it's a terrible name if you ask me. Anyway, after a weird cycle 3 and normal cycle 4, I got pregnant on cycle 5 and will be 25 weeks tomorrow. She is about 5-6 weeks pregnant this time and had been monitoring her betas as well as getting ultrasounds. Everything looks perfect! I've had four chemicals - for me, there is clearly an underlying problem but a lot of people do just have a random one so I wouldn't worry. With my 1st mc it was at 6.5 weeks and the pain was so painful a dr I work with put me on a pain med and muscle relaxer.
