Mine was a squinter 15DPO. My betas were 12 & 13 so I lost hope when I heard the results of my second beta. My FRER was a slightly darker faint positive in the afternoon when I tested again & I also got a faint positive on a clear blue HPT. I started spotting 4 days later and AF showed up 20DPO.

Mine wasn't dark, but it wasn't a squinter. I also got a positive on a digital as well. I had a m/c around 5 weeks.

With my mc (around 5 wks) I think I tested right when my period was due (super long cycle and didn't know when I ovulated). The line was not as dark as the control line but was not faint. I knew something was up Bc a few days later I tested and it was lighter. And I kept testing and it kept getting lighter until I started bleeding.

My first bfp ended in a mc at 7 weeks. I tested 3 days after my first missed af because I wasn't paying attention to being late but my lines were very dark I started bleeding around 5 weeks and mc at 7

Here the picture of it and liked I say it was 3 days after my missed af

Mine was dark enough that I wasn't worried. It definitely wasn't a squinter. I never started bleeding. I didn't find out until I went to my first appointment at 10 weeks.

Well, I got positives (not super dark) from 10 dpo to 14 dpo and then got a negative at 15 and started bleeding the next day.

ETA: I got a positive digi at 11 dpo.

Unfortunately, I think darkness means little. Both of my m/cs had an earlier :bfp: , and I believe they were darker too. With this pregnancy, I tested once, and told myself that I couldn't test again because worrying about the darkness of the line is just too hard.

@Mrs. Confetti: ((hugs)) With my first BFP, I got an extremely faint + at 10 DPO. My betas were really low. But the lines got darker every day and the pregnancy was successful. This last time, I knew I was in the trouble when the lines weren't darker the second or third day.

I am just curious because my lines last time with the MC were faint and if/when my time comes, I want to know if I am crazy reading into things like line color, because I don't know that I will ever have a carefree "excited" moment with a bfp again. Thanks all so much for all of yor experiences.

I had a CP (last month) and first BFP was 13DPO (hadn't tested before as I had some spotting 2 days before and thought it was AF). It was faint but pink on FRER. Line just kept getting progressively fainter on FRER, never got a + on digital. Line went away 16DPO, blood test with very low numbers 16DPO and started bleeding 17/18DPO (was basically a crampy, heavy period). Wishing you luck...

I've had both unfortunately. My CP, I tested about 5 days after my missed period, got a bright pink line and a "pregnant" on a digital. I started cramping and bleeding like a period about 2 days later.

With my two missed miscarriages, I got pretty bright lines as well. Those both had to be removed via D&C though since my body was missing the miscarriage.

I usually got faint lines (betas around 30 that then stalled so lines stayed the same for days). Bleeding started when I was close to 0 around 19-20dpo. I've had 4 and all were consistent for me.

I got a positive HPT on day 9 (didn't test before that) and it was just a normal line. The darkness of the line doesn't mean much, those tests are not quantitative. I went in for a blood test the next day and the following day my OB called and said the numbers didn't look good and she would be surprised if I didn't start bleeding in the next few days. That's exactly what happened. I think I started bleeding on day 15, which I wouldn't have even known about the pregnancy if I wasn't testing.

First BFP at 8 DPO. On both a cheapie test and a FRER, the line was definitely pink. It was also very faint, but clearly there (aka no squinting required). I continued to get faint (some squinters) positives on cheapie tests at 9-15 DPO. Bleeding started the evening of 15 DPO. I never saw another + FRER after that first one.

@Mrs. Confetti: I've had both. With my MC my line was dark pink. I suspected I was pregnant, but wasn't trying at the time so I kept putting off testing. I finally tested when AF was just over 2 weeks late. I ended up starting to bleed 3 days later. With my chemical, I tested at 12 dpo and got a faint positive (light pink line on FRER). I ended up starting to bleed 4 days after that.

Or very early MC, what was your positive line like on your pregnancy test? Faint or bright pink? What day did you test, and how long after you found out did your bleeding start?
