It numbed me from the bikini line down (my legs were dead weights) but I could still feel all of my abdominal contractions. They tried to fix it twice, but no dice. So I labored on pitocin as far as I could and then got the epidural, which went too far and became a spinal catheter. They ended up giving me fentanyl to take the edge off that pain. </p> <p>I would get one again. The relief I did get was a huge help. The third time was terrible. I will spare you the details, but it also didn't work well. It took some of the edge off, but I could still feel most everything. But I couldn't move. I don't know if it's worth trying for one again. I don't want to end up in the same position of not being able to move, but still feeling almost everything. </p>
