Both my fiancée and I were totally shocked. We weren't trying and we were just starting to talk about planning a wedding in a year. I cried for a week straight. My parents were totally thrilled right off the bat and then when we eventually told his side of the family they were excited too. It took a few weeks for my fiancée to come out of shock and fear and get excited. Our little guy will be here in 4 weeks and we both couldn't be more excited and happy. Also, it's such a blessing our son will be at our wedding in December as well. :grin: also I was on birth control and got really sick and took two different antibiotics... the rest is history. My sister and one friend know it was a real surprise, but I don't share that info with that many people. </p> <p>Dh and I took a while. We were only a few months off from TTC anyway, but it was still a shock. everyone else was really happy, but they will be almost 2.5 years apart, and people knew we wanted two, so it's not that big of a surprise. And lots of our friends are pregnant again with similar gaps, and I assume most of them are on purpose.
