Ok- def getting rid of the toddler seat.

And I guess we will see if LO prefers one motion thing over the oter and I'll purge which one future LO doesn't like.
Just thinking about all this crap in the storage closet makes my skin crawl!!

I voted swing and toddler seat. My lo would maybe start sitting in the seat again now at 13 months, but it worked for a very short time for us. He also wasn't a huge swing lover and it's SO BIG that I'd get rid of it. For me the Pack n Play is essential for times I have to put him down to get ready or when we have my nephew over and need an extra sleeping space.

I used the infant to toddler seat a lot so I voted the glider or swing. Pnp is definitely a necessity! I never used the rnp but some ladies swear by it.

I'd keep everything and see what the baby likes. I bought a RnP because everyone here raves about them, and he barely used it. We ended up just using the PnP next to the bed instead and now I don't have to worry about transitioning him from sleeping at an incline. You also never know which bouncy seat or swing he'll like. Maybe some months it'll be one, some months it'l be another. And I don't have a huge house, but it's choppy, and I hate carrying his bouncy seat all over. But it's one thing this week I can depend on to leave him in for a few minutes while I go to the bathroom or make breakfast or something.

If you have space, I'd hold on to it all and see what the next LO likes, then purge. My LO never liked the swing at all, so the small one we had just took up space. She used it like, 3 times, ever. But ours only went front back, I wonder if we had a bigger one if she would have liked the side to side motion. And I agree that it's nice to have a place to put the baby down in every room. I have a small apartment with basically 3 rooms-- master, baby's room, living room/kitchen. I still ended up carrying the rock and play around a lot so if it was a bigger place, having two items like that would be helpful, especially if you also have a toddler to attend to.

That said, I'd keep the PnP (good for travel), regular Rock and Play (C slept in that for the first 3 months, then still hung out in it during the day until 5 months), and the big swing that has 2 motion options.

I'd prefer a simple bouncer that is light weight and easy to move, if I was going to get one. We got a Bright Starts hand me down and it is easy to move around from room to room. The one you posted is way, way prettier but looks annoying to move.

I'd get rid of that seat thing and the motion glider. The PnP can be stored folded up if you aren't using it, and for us, the RnP has been a nighttime saver (LO sleeps in it).

I'd get rid of the RnP. We hardly used ours, and I feel like a swing, bouncer and PnP meet the same needs. It's cheap to replace if you regret it.

I'd also get rid of the toddler/rocker and one of the swings.

Motion Glider & Toddler chair, these are so simlilar to the swing & RNP. You could even get rid of PNP and have LO sleep in RNP.

If I had the room, I would keep everything for #2. You never know what they may like. My LO didn't really like the small swing so I would choose that to get rid of. In my experience, there were never too many baby holders. I found the seat/toddler chair very useful.

The infant to toddler seat would serve the same purpose as the bouncer, so I would get rid of that. And if you are really looking to purge stuff I would also get rid of the motion glider because like you said it's basically the swing. But if you like having them in different rooms then keep it.

We used the RNP and Pack N Play the most in the beginning. With the PNP, we set it up in the living room as a changing table station for the first months. The swing which was a hand me down was okay, not thrilling. The bouncer was helpful for us just to set him somewhere and do something before he was mobile.

Of the gear you posted, we had just a pack and play (with none of those nests) and a front to back swing that was low.

We didn't have access to a rock and play or a swing at regular height, so if we did, I would have gotten/kept those.

We mainly used the RNP and swing in the beginning. The pack and play has come in handy now that LO is older and we use it when we travel. The bouncer seat wasn't a hit with LO.

Would not have been able to deal with the last few months without my swing and RNP. I sold our PNP -- just never used it. We also have a Bjorn bouncer that I love now that LO us getting a bit bigger. We have a traditional bouncer too that we never got much use out of.

Anyway, I would say I wouldn't necessarily get rid of anything if you have a big house and have room for it. It's nice to have several "baby holders" that you don't need to drag around.

@sunny: we don't have any storage issues; I just FEEL like we're being to grabby. I kind of feel bad looking at so much unused gear, but you're right in saying we could wait for a 2nd child and see what he/she prefers.

Looking at this bouncer by the way, not saying we're getting it but if I get a BFP, I might buy it as a congratulatory splurge to me!
