When DS1 was being born, the doctors told DH to look, so he started taking a video...but when he realized that the baby was not fully out yet, he freaked and shut the video off! So i have a 1 second video of DS1 being pulled out of me. And i wish it was more! I wondered if they would let people watch if they wanted to, but they probably don't either for germ protection or because even someone said they were fine with seeing it they might pass out or get nervous.</p> <p>I would never have watched it while pregnant because I assumed that a c-section wasn't even on the radar for me. Probably a month or two after. My friend had an unplanned one and so did I and she said it helped her to be able to see what happened in surgery so I watched it. I found it really interesting actually. I had no idea they had to go through so many layers and it really is quite intricate. There are photos on my phone from when LO2 was born in May when the Drs lifted her up for DH to see. I did have a friend come in my second C-section and take pics- some of the gorier ones I can't really look at.
