Its debatable whether my labour was induced or augmented since I was having contractions by the time I got to the hospital. My water broke 24hrs earlier and I was feverish so it was time to go get antibiotics. They put me on a Pitocin drip which, in retrospect, I wish I had been more vocal about declining. :-/ Either way, DD was born 6hrs later, super healthy!

I was diagnosed with Cholestasis of Pregnancy (liver disorder) that can be fatal for the baby in utero after 38 weeks. So I was induced at 37 weeks 2 days.

7 days post due and while E passed the amniotic fluid test she did not pass the fetal heart rate test. So they admitted me! I could have fought it but I was so ready to meet baby girl.

I had low fluid at 41 weeks. My induction was terrible, and if faced with a similar situation this time, I'll heavily advocate for waiting it out under monitoring.

I was induced at 41+1. I had borderline low fluid at my 41-week appointment, and I had already accepted being induced before that. (My mom went 12-16 days late or was induced with all four kids, so I was not liking my chances of going without an induction anyway!) I had a really great induction and labor experience - the whole thing took ~13 hours, start to finish (including 2 hours of pushing :bummed: ).

Scheduling! Sounds nuts, but I had to in order to ensure my husband would be home. I'll also be induced with this one at 39w. I had a lengthy discussion with my OB, and she was induced for scheduling reasons also with all 3, and agreed that sometimes when people have jobs like hers or my husband's, it's necessary and it is what it is.

I was being monitored for low fluid and went in for my weekly bpp/nst and measured a zero! So they sent me right upstairs to l/d. I was 37 weeks. Lo was born in the amniotic sac 36 hours after I was admitted. Took forever since I wasn't dilated or effaced at all and she was still really high up

I was induced at 42 weeks because that's as long as I wanted to be pregnant. ;) It went so well. It was terrified because my first labor was horrible and 36 hours long but this one was a breeze and only about 3 hours start to finish.

I had GD and would have been induced at 40 weeks if I didn't go into labor on my own. My doctor originally wanted induction at 39 weeks but I was able to control my GD and had no issues with my ultrasounds, she let me go to 40. I went into labor on my own at 39w 1d.

38 weeks 5 days I was induced due to lo's growth slowing down considerably and her movements were getting less and less. I was also high risk for bleeding (bleeding disorder) so they were able to give me meds for the bleeding early in the induction process. Really hoping I don't need to be induced this time.

Multiple reasons! Pregnancy was going smoothly up until 34 weeks, and then suddenly LO had IUGR issues (intrauterine growth restrictions), basically they were concerned that he was below the 10th percentile, which was cause for concern. Then at 34 + 5, I developed pre-eclampsia, and was to be on bed rest until they would induce at 37 weeks. I only made it to 35 + 2 when they decided the baby was too smal and also breached, so I had a C-section! It was the most nerve wracking week of my life!

At 39 and 4 days because if I went to my due date, DH might have been there for the delivery (depending on how long labor took), but would have had to leave right after. Or he would have missed it altogether. So medically unnecessary, but necessary.
