While mine were born almost in the same season (November and February), they are growing at such different rates that it's hard to know in advance what I'll need. Xander pretty much lived in sleepers and rompers though, so I haven't had to buy much for Logan. I'll probably have to buy new short-sleeve/short rompers though since Logan will outgrow the ones Xander had before summer rolls around.

DD1 was born in October, DD2 will be born later this month, I honestly haven't bought anything until I know what size she will be. I'm hoping to get away with most of the 3-6 summer clothes I have (DD1 was very petite) but if I have to buy smaller I will.

Following....in the same boat. DS1 was Feb. DS2 is July.

So far, I've bought him a coming home outfit, A 5 pack of short sleeved onesies with a matching 2 pack of shorts, and 2 rompers. I feel like I'll be able to reuse the long sleeved onesies from DS1 when we're in the house at least, because we run the A/C a ton. Don't they say to dress newborns like you + one extra layer? So, I hope I can get away with reusing a lot of them anyway. I guess I'll just see how it goes. I'm kinda nervous about it honestly. Lol

Following. DS1 was November, DS2 is due in June. By the time we hit 12 months it won't be a problem because lo1 is so small and was in each size so long (wearing 18 months still at 27 months, and it's big), that we have all seasons. But for the little stuff, we will need to supplement.

what types of clothing items did you need to buy?

We are hoping to reuse everything that we kept from DS#1, but they will be different season babies (DS is Nov, DS#2 is July). Wondering what type of basic pieces I should get new in the correct size, for at least the first few months since we can layer during the winter season...
