I've been a hot mess at work and it was completely obvious. I've had to ask coworkers on multiple occasions to cover a patient as I run for the bathroom. With my second I just barfed freely, took time off, and developed a pretty good baby bump by 12 weeks, and just didn't say anything because the pregnancy was really precarious. I was put on bedrest at 8 weeks for HG, as I literally would throw up 7-10 times a day. So, I had to meet with my immediate supervisor, and my boss to work out the logistics of teleworking. They were completely supportive.
