But she clarified: it was harder for a certain period of time, and then the pain and discomfort went away.</p> <p>Whereas the c-section recovery wasn't as brutal at first, but continued for a longer period of time (and involved more prescription painkillers too!).</p> <p>If you had both a c-section and a vaginal birth, which one was a harder recovery for you? </p>
