DS is 9mo and only seemed to have it in his mouth, which made him refuse to nurse. That lasted only four days or so. My biggest problem was also my mouth, and that lasted a few days longer but the severity seemed about the same. I had it worse than my son! Although his affected his eczema, so his blisters looked really terrible, he actually didn't seem all that bothered by it at all. Whereas my blisters were itchy and hurt and I was miserable for a week! My worst symptoms were the sores in my mouth. I had some tiny blisters on my hands. I hope it clears quickly for you!! But I didn't have any sores in my throat... I hear that's the worst part, so hopefully that clears up for you quicker than the rest! And by "only," I clearly mean it SUCKED for 7-10 days. I caught my LO's HFM. I had a fever two days ago and today I am starting to see little red bumps all over my hands and I have a bad sore throat. How long does it take adults to get over this?
