I won't relax until I make it to term. I went into preterm labor last time at 30w and was dilated, effaced, and had a shortened cervix. I was on bed rest until 37.5 wks. I pretty much am expecting the same thing to happen again this time. I know that my preterm labor can be controlled with rest so at least that is comforting.

@beachbee: +1

Also had major breast feeding issues with number one and basically have bf PTSD and keep thinking I'm starving #2. Meanwhile he's not even a month old yet has gained 2.5lbs. It's never ending for me. I'm working on it though!

Not until I delivered my healthy baby and held her on my arms. I tried to relax throughout the entire pregnancy, but nothing worked and I worried about every little thing.

My first pregnancy I delivered early at 28 weeks. They never knew what caused it exactly. With my second pregnancy I was only able to be somewhat relaxed after getting close to 36 weeks or so since I knew that at 37 weeks, he would be full term.
So unfortunately, nothing really help ease my anxiety but it got a little easier as we got closer and closer to the due date. I also had the cerclage put in for the second pregnancy and was getting weekly progesterone shots so it made me feel a little better knowing we were doing whatever we could to keep LO in longer.
@mrs.64 : how are you and LO doing? Thinking of you both still.

I had a fairly uneventful pregnancy until I delivered at 25 weeks. I'm scared enough that I don't know if we will have more children. If we do, I don't know if there is anything that would help to ease my anxiety.

If you were high risk pregnancy with LO #1, when did you relax in your 2nd pregnancy? I have been very scared this entire pregnancy of something going wrong after everything that happened with LO #1:
- High risk for downs (had to have CVS)
- Lots of bleeding 1st trimester
- Delivering at 34 weeks
This pregnancy has been VERY different but I have to admit I'm scared and nervous something will go wrong again. If you had a similar situation, when did you "relax"? When you hit viability? Something else...
