Your comment about the polyp caught my attention because I had a bunch of fibroids (similar to polyps I guess?) but they were all on the outside of my uterus and I had surgery to remove them. Let me know when your RE tells you more about it. RE thought it was an air bubble that was stuck, but he continued pushing fluids through abd the air bubble still wouldn't move. But I had post op pain the first time that kept me in bed for 2 days. RE ruled out any infections. </p> <p>This last HSG was just uncomfortable for about on and off for 5 min. This time they gave me a lodocaine shot. It was suppose to reduce the pain for the injection but it felt the same. Oh, I told them about my past allergic reaction to lobster and my last HSG, so they went with the iodine free solution.</p> <p>So far no post op pain! I'll take the second experoence over the first experience. </p> <p>How did your repeat HSG compare? </p>
