I was nervous, but I waited until LO turned 2 to ttc again because I needed that big break. I should also say that I came to the decision with my doctor that it would be beneficial to stay on Lexapro - only 5mg's, but still enough to keep me on track.

@SweetiePie: (hugs) i am so sorry your in the early days of PPD. I am almost 13 months since my DS was born and am now just seeking out help which i should have done a LONG time ago so well done for reaching out and getting the help you need. I seriously am on the fence between my heart and my brain right now. My heart tells me i have love to give for another child and my mind is screaming NO. :bummed:

Just want to say you aren't alone! My LO is only 4 months and I too am suffering from PPD. I'm only starting therapy next week. The thought of ever going through this again is terrifying. The feelings I've felt (particularly in the early weeks) and the havoc it has wreaked on our marriage - I just can't see it being worth it again. I am firmly in the one and done camp right now. People tell me that will change, but I just can't see that right now.
I wish you luck and peace with whichever decision you choose :-)

Just as the title says, if you suffered with PPD was the choice to have a second child harder? Easier? I plan on doing some therapy here in the new year so i can feel prepared mentally for starting that journey into deciding if we want to have a second child. But i am worried i will never be excited about it and TTC / pregnancy will be a great source of anxiety for me until the baby is born and we see what happens. DS had colic for 5 months and it was hell between that and my PPD. I feel very torn right now, esspecially since DH is so excited about the prospect of LO # 2 and i am scared shitless.
