For the full sessions it's about $300 for 30ish photos digitally (usually we get a bit more since LO loooves the camera so she has a lot to work with!) or $130 for a mini session for 5-10 photos. She does a great job!!</p> <p>ETA: will probably plan on doing them annually afterwards - LO is a fall baby so that works for holiday cards. And then we will do a fall family shoot every year for holiday cards, which falls around DD1's birthday. We then did another Christmas pic shoot before his second birthday. We didn't do a 2nd bday one, but we did just do family/maternity pics and DS was 27m old.</p> <p>We find local photographers to do them and they always turn out great. I'm still on the fence about 2 year shots. So we have only done professional photos once, before Christmas her first year. That does sound really expensive but I also appreciate that you are paying for the artist's talent and time and training in addition to the actual prints. </p> <p>I'm hoping to get some family photos done after this baby is born, so likely it will end up being right around Christmas time. These are looking a lot more expensive, so I'm not sure if it's something I want to do every year.
