For S I didn't get progesterone and went into labor at 39 weeks. For M I was on weekly 17 p shots from weeks 20-34. I did not have cervix issues with my first pregnancy and went into labor 37w5d. I started them just shy of 25 weeks, and I'm 29 weeks now. At my last cervix check, my cervix actually increased .4mm and they determined it wasn't necessary for me to come in every other week for check-ins anymore. (This was a huge relief for me!). I've still been instructed to continue with the suppositories until 36 weeks. I guess there's a slight chance that you increase your likelihood of going into labor early if you stop to treatment early. In addition to the progesterone, I've been on "light duty," as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the progress I've made. I asked today if i am more likely to go into labor early after stopping the shots and she said she predicts probably around 38 weeks. Wondering how this played out for other mommas! </p>
