It was actually a good amount of bleeding and I called my OB's nurses line because I was worried. She said if I soaked through a pad in less than an hour to call back. Then I had another (significantly more "violent" - quite painful &amp; longer than the first) at 40w5d, and went into labour about 8 hrs later. Who is to say though, at 40w5d I might have gone into labour anyway! I had some bright red mucousy bleeding right after then it went away until about 4 hours later. I was having a lot of cramps so I thought it could be my bloody show. However, it was late so I decided to get some sleep while I could just in case and my contractions went away. Now I'm just nervous about the bleeding? Should I call my OB? </p> <p>Also just for fun... </p>
