I really liked it! It was nice to be able to do toddler-specific stuff with DD2, and to make sure she got more attention than normal. On DD1's "special day", we would do something for older kids (e.g., ice skating at a special place downtown, got her haircut for the first time) and usually a special treat (donuts!) too.</p> <p>This year they are both in preschool 5 days/week, but I will probably pull each one separately for 1-2 days/month just to get some solo time! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/if-you-have-2-little-ones#post-2618007 Thu, 08 Sep 2016 13:41:59 +0000 PinkElephant 2618007@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>Pretty much daily!</p> <p>I'm alone with DD1 when DD2 naps for about 2 hours each day, and once school starts I'll be alone with DD2 whenever DD1 is in school and DD2 is not)....until DD3 arrives. Then I expect no one will get alone time other than DD3, who will get it when the big girls' school times overlap (two mornings per week). We deliberately kept LO1 in nursery so I could enjoy the time with my baby, and my in laws take LO2 one day a week so I can focus on E. Or one person goes out with LO1 while the other is home with LO2 (who naps more often).</p> <p>On weekdays, hardly ever. He's a total mama's boy because of it too. Sometimes it's when the others are napping or just running an errand while dad stays back.</p> <p>Yesterday DD1 had her school orientation and we had our part time nanny stay with the little girls so DH and I could go with her. When we got back DD2 had just woken up from her nap so she and I went to the market together. That left me with just LO2 from 2pm until this morning. It was so nice to get time with just her, it's rare that I am alone any length of time with just one LO! </p>
