I have June 2012 and November 2015 babies and we live in a very wintery climate so not much so far, mostly clothes that were handed down from my sister's fall baby. I am OK with that as I'm sure there will be more overlap once we get out of the first year.

I have spring and end of summer babies, so I've been able to use a decent amount. The smaller stuff we went through faster, so not as much, but as the little one is getting older and not growing as much, we are able to use more.

Mine are 24 months apart but lo2 is growing SO much faster than lo1 did (lo1 is 3 and in 2T, lo2 is 15 months and in 15-18 for tops & 12-15 for pants).

We like to joke that soon we'll be getting lo2 new clothes & lo1 will be wearing the hand me downs. 😂

Mine are 20 months apart - born in September and May. Little brother used a lot of big brothers clothes, but not everything. They were born at the start of different seasons so he needed some extra items. But I would say at least half of all clothes were reused.

May baby and December baby. I needed lots of new until DS2 was 6m or so. He's a lot bigger than DS1 so since then even though they were born different seasons, he's been able to wear most of his clothes.

Similar to @lilyann: and @lilteacherbee: My boyx are 21 months apart and my younger has been heavier than my older. I've been able to reuse a lot of clothes, but I had to buy weather-appropriate clothes for my younger a lot (like summer rompers in the correct size).

I've been able to reuse pretty much everything. My girls' birthdays are 2 weeks apart, so everything is the right season. We have winter gear we used in Chicago we don't need now on Texas, but that's about it.

Same situation as @lilyann:

They are 20 months apart (born in November and August) and have been able to share most things. However, LO2 is bigger than LO1 was at his age (3.5 months). I keep joking that he better slow down because he'll be wearing shorts in February ;)

Mine are almost 3 years apart in age. First one born in August and second one born in late May. I've been able to reuse the sleepers, onesies, and pants the most so far.

For some seasonal stuff, I've bought a couple of things because DS #2 is a little older during the winter than DS #1 was as an infant. By Christmas, he'll be wearing 9 month clothing or so while DS #1 was still firmly in 6 month clothing then.

DD1 was a happy spitter until about ten months and despite my best cleaning efforts, I still couldn't get all the spit up stains out (I thought BM wasn't meant to stain?!?). DD2 wore a few things that were DD1's but mainly pajamas, onesies, and a few nicer outfits that I really loved.

My mom also has thing about DD2 not feeling like secondhand Annie, so she has bought her loads of new clothes along the way. If LO3 is a girl, I'm quite sure the same thing will happen....

My boys were in different seasons plus my second has consistently been 2lbs heavier than big bro was at the same age. DS2 seems to be growing out of his clothes/shoes so much faster!

They are 20 months apart and now that DS2 is almost 18 months, they can share clothes for the most part!

If you have two of the same gender, are you able to use the same clothes for both? I can use about 1/3 of it, but I had an October baby and a March baby so opposite seasons, so pretty much cotton leggings and some onesies is all that I was able to use for both.
