I donated it through human milkm 4 human babies. </p> <p>Now with my second I'm home full time and he doesn't take a bottle. DD2 was never a big bottle fan, though, so after my weekend away from her at 10.5mo, where she wanted nothing to do with thawed bm, I threw away almost 200oz. I would've loved to cycle through it and give her daily bm through 18m though!</p> <p>I looked into donating to one of the milk banks, but tbh, it wasn't a very easy process for me living in a very rural area at the time. When she was taking bottles I tried to cycle through the oldest milk.</p> <p>I used some to make purees. By the time she was 11 months I had donated 2000oz. I've also given some milk to a friend. My plan is to just keep giving her breastmilk bottles at daycare until it runs out, then switch to cow's milk.
