I agree that the BOB is pretty big if you don’t have a good amount of storage. I don’t think it’s that huge when folded, but it is pretty heavy. It’s not a pain to lift to get it in/out of a car, but I wouldn’t want to lug it up stairs, or even to and from an elevator every day to use it.

I love our BOB and it is really great for running, but we do store it in our garage so space isn’t an issue.

We have a Revolution and it is giant when folded. We only use it for walks/runs around the neighborhood and keep it in our garage. But it's a fantastic stroller.

@hilsy85: sadly I just don't think the BOB is well suited to city living unless you're super rich and have a massive apartment.

We have the BOB Revolution and I love it. We also got the car seat adaptor, so I have been using it ever since we got it. As @MamaMoose said, it's HUGE when folded.

@MamaMoose: gahhh :( That's what I'm afraid of, we really have SUCH limited storage that I have no idea where we would put it if it doesn't fold up small.

@hilsy85: we have the revolution and I love it for long walks on rougher terrain. And as soon as LO has better head control (doc said at 3 months) then I'll start running with her in there. We have the adaptor for her car seat to fit. Honestly though... It's huge even when folded. I don't know that I would want one if I didn't have a garage to keep it in.

@hilsy85: we also have the UB vista for walks. I think the ironman is perfect for a running stroller and I went with it over the revolution because it was cheaper. Also, the wheels on the revolution are a bit bigger I think which I thought would be better for running.

@kjn: thank you! We have another stroller (just updated my post) so this would mainly be for runs.

I have the ironman. I think the big difference is the ironman has a fixed front wheel that doesn't swivel. It's great for running but not great for walking. The revolution has a front wheel that can be locked when using for running but can swivel for walks. If it's going to be your only stroller definitely get the revolution. I use my ironman only for running and love it.

I started using it as soon as my son had good head control - I think between three and four months.

Folded it's fairly large but would still fit easily in the trunk of my Mazda 3.

Not sure about used prices because I bought mine new.

What's the difference between the Ironman and the Revolution, and which do you prefer?

When they're folded, how much space would you say they take up?

When did you start using your Bob with LO?

Also, what would you say a good price for a second hand one is? I'm seeing prices ranging from $165 to $250.

Thanks ladies :)
ETA that we already have an every day stroller (UB vista) that's great for walks, so this would primarily be for runs.
