I have two, one older by 2.5 years and one younger by 3 years. I was always very close with my older brother. We shared a room when we were younger and never really fought. He is married and I get along well with my SIL--I'm sure that if we didn't live in different states we would be a lot closer. Whenever they come to visit (or we visit them) we have a lot of fun.</p> <p>I fought a lot with my younger brother until I was well into middle school. As much as I teased him, I also always felt really protective over him. We got to be really close my senior year of college, as he was a freshman in a school two towns over--since we didn't have any other family nearby we spent a lot of time together and formed a real friendship. Now he works in an industry that requires him to be away for long periods of time (like 8-9 months at a time) so I don't see him as much, and communication is always a hit or miss. He gets along so well with my husband, which helps a lot. I think if we lived in the same area, we would be closer.
