Growing up we had an angel and I always wanted a star. Growing up, we had a star that was cut out of cardboard and wrapped in foil. A tiny hole was cut in the middle so a light from the tree could be poked through to "light" it. The story is that when my parents first got married, they didn't have a lot of money so my dad made this star. And they kept it at the top of the tree ever since. .. going on 41 years.
