But to be honest: I deep clean every week because I can't handle seeing my house ever out of shape-if only for a day. I know someone who hired a person to come for 2 hours a day and she did a load of laundry, made beds, did the dishes from dinner and breakfast and spent whatever time was left working on the other cleaning. I would love to be able to do that one day! They found a woman who did it for $15/ an hour so it wasn't even that expensive for basically getting out of cleaning! We don't tend to need to dust or clean the tub in between her visits, but we do vaccuum and clean the kitchen/bathroom on her off weeks. In addition to our futile attempts to keep the house clean, we also have a maid come every other week to do a deep cleaning: bathrooms, stovetop, microwave, fridge, etc. With all the cooking Bee's doing for paleo lately though, it's not enough... so I've just recently started to clean the stovetop and oven on our maid's off weeks. If you have a maid, how often does s/he come? How often do you a deep clean of the bathrooms, stovetop, microwave, and fridge?
