If it's something that was way overpriced to begin with, so I feel like it's only WORTH what I paid, I'll add a little more. And it depends on the recipient. For DH's family... if I get something that's originally a higher retail price for less, I usually call it a day. I can't think straight when I'm out shopping with LO, and I put everything together when I got home and feel like it's not enough. It would retail for well over $50, but I paid less. </p> <p>What do you do in those cases? </p> <p>(For the record, no one would care one way or the other, it's more how I feel about the gift.) </p>
