I make sure to wipe it down regularly and switch it out if she seems to be getting bored by it. I give C something to chew on or play with (bottle of aquaphor, closed, or a diaper or a rattle or something), and then do the fastest diaper change I can. Once it's on imperfectly, I let him play, and then I stand him up straight and fix it as best I can. One day she flipped over and ran/crawled away with the change pad still attached to her back!!! If i am in a rush i will turn on the tv (bad, i know) and other times i will just pin her down and then give her something. LO is a squirmer so as she got more mobile this became an issue. We have something hanging up near the changing pad that I can move, which sometimes works, plus singing and silly faces, plus sometimes a pacifier. I've been lucky until now - even when my LO was at his fussiest, he never minded having his diaper changed or putting on clothes. Now, at 7.5 months, he is happy, but super active and obsessed with crawling. Whenever we put him down he immediately rolls to his tummy and tries to crawl away, so I feel like I have to wrestle him to get anything done. I've mostly figured out dressing him while he's in a crawling position, but it is really hard to get his diaper on straight! Any tips for making this easier? Is it just normal at his age? </p>
