As for rhyming, actually one of our favorite girl names and one of our favorite boy names rhyme so we already decided if we use one, we automatically cannot use the other (Grace and Chase-- it would be ridiculous!) For example, I don't want another child to have a name that starts with W's letter. I also don't want any names that end in the same sound. My daughter's name is hyphenated and our next choice for a girls name would also be hyphenated and the sounds are sort of similar. Or have some other sort of connection. Charlie and Olive are just two random names... so I guess we didn't go with the connection path. Or to put it another way: is it important to you to have your kids' names have a conceptual connection of some kind?
