It's a unique situation though, because both of my sisters are adopted and quite a bit younger (one is about to be 14 and the other will be 9 soon), whereas I'm the oldest child and in my 20s. </p> <p>I have the best conversations with my oldest brother, but a lot of that may have to do with us being the only two adults thus far. I love all of my siblings and actually spend the most time with my youngest sister, but our relationships are so drastically different from the norm! I feel like her aunt most of the time, tbh.</p> <p>I think as they get older we'll have more opportunity to be "closer" in the sense that I won't feel like the "aunt figure" so much, but who knows. I have been close with all of them, but currently am closer to my oldest younger sister and my brother. It is mainly because we are a lot closer in age and all out of my parent's house- they are in graduate school and finishing college, while my youngest two sisters are still in high school. The 2nd youngest and I are best, best friends though - we went to university together, were roomies for a while, and now work together. They are 7 and 9 years older. I am closer to the younger of the two, but not because of age. My oldest brother went to college out of state when I was 8 and never moved back. Even now, he lives far away. I never got to know him as well purely out of proximity. My middle brother lived at home until I was 14-15, so we had MUCH more bonding time. </p> <p>My oldest brother and I are getting closer now that we are both adults with families.
