DS isa total wild child at the age of 4 and was a super high needs baby. DD so far is way easier. She is only 6 weeksbut is a very mellow baby.

I'm still cooking #1 but my mom had one of each. My brother came first and she jokes that he tricked her into wanting a second baby! He wasn't fussy, slept well, ate well, stayed by her side no matter where they were, he was quiet, smiley, just everything you could ever hope for in a kiddo.

I, on the other hand, was 7.5 pounds of sheer terror. I screamed and fussed and puked and as soon as I could walk, I was running off with strangers lol.

DS is easier so far, but I bet in a year from now I would say DD was easier. I keep hearing (and experiencing) that boys are easier infants but harder toddlers.

I think the second one is often easier. DS is our second and while he's been much easier in some ways he's much harder in other ways.

DS has been way easier than DD ever was. I think it's bc he's the second and we are so much more laid back now as parents. He is a great eater whereas DD was so picky. However he is so much more active and I am already chasing him around the playground and catching him putting stuff in his mouth he shouldnt have and he's only 14 mo. So in that sense he is harder to manage. I don't even want to think about the teenage years with DD.. We are already having those mother /daughter "moments" and she's only 4

In my family my brothers were easier until they graduated high school - then one distanced themselves from himself from the family. My other brother lost motivation for school and his grades suffered cause he stopped trying - it aggravated my mom a lot! But he's doing better now.

I was the worst child in my family for sure. My older sister wasn't too bad. Just moody I think - she was introverted. When she was home she never wanted to be with family and mostly hung out with her friends.

My littlest sister is TBD - she is almost 8! I think she had so many older sibs who will keep her in her place!! haha

i was much easier than my brother.

i think overall charlie was easier than olive, but olive seems easier just because it's easier for us as parents the second time around.

I think DS will be wild and active. His dad was a ball of energy when he was little.
I think boys are less drama in general.
We shall see though!

I know girls are much more difficult after the age of 4...I've nannied tons of kids and the girls were always sassy brats and the boys were always laid back, go with the flow type. Unless I just got unlucky I don't know. I have an 11 week old DD...we will see what life brings us in a few years!

DD is 31m and DS is 9w; I have to say that I think DD was easier even though she was my first. DS seems to be fussier in general and although I had difficulties breastfeeding both times the problems albeit similar seem much worse with DS.

going for total honesty here, my brother was easier than myself OR my sister. he loved to nap, loved giving hugs, wasn't confrontational and listened well.

us on the other hand..I won't get into that. LOL.

which one has been easier? All of my friends with one of each have told me that the boys are way easier because they are less fussy about everything.
