He's "retired" so this is his only job. He usually puts an ad in the newspaper.</p> <p>We have one apartment and it was rented for around 2 years and we did everything ourselves. I think that might be a Chicago only website. But so far so good. We haven't had much maintenance needed but we've done it ourselves. Luckily DH has only had to go over like 3 times for minor fixes. Though in the future i'm thinking of letting property management do our 2nd property too. We used craigslist to find our tenants. I think in the future we might go with a broker, as this was pretty time-consuming, but it worked out well for a 2 year lease.
