I put normal lotion on, honestly I think that's the "special" stuff is gimmicky. She felt so cheated!</p> <p>I never got them. I don't think there is anything you can do to prevent them, but I did put aqufor on twice a day every day until I developed an allergy to it. It was never an option for me to use the cocoa butter stuff because I hate the cloying smell. But I got on the internet/amazon and was really impressed with all of the reviews of people who didn't get any stretch marks. It's expensive, but it's cheaper than laser after the fact:) And obviously, once I didn't get any with #1, I'm using the same stuff for #2. </p> <p>The oil can be messy getting it out of the bottle but it absorbs pretty quickly. I like the cream better just because it sort of drives me nuts that no matter how careful I was, there was always an oil ring where I set it. They were extremely mild and made a cute little sun around my belly button :silly: They totally disappeared within a few weeks. I did use EMAB stretch oil religiously after every shower... who knows if that helped or not, but it smelled delicious! haha</p> <p>ETA- My mom's are apparently reeeeally bad (3 kids). So subsequent pregnancies might end up worse for me?
