Well the baby is only a month, but she tags along to the big ones activities. So she comes to music class in the car seat, to the organized play group... Luckily of my mom friends with babies C's age, almost all of us are having second babies within a few months of each other so she will have built in playmates that way too. Other than that everything will wait until the big one is in school regularly since I wouldn't have anything to do with the toddler anyway.

My hope is to do a low key activity with LO #2 like baby story time once per week while LO #1 is in preschool. (My pretend second baby since I am not pregnant or TTC. ) Honestly it's because I know my personality and I would probably just want to chill with an infant when I don't have the toddler, and it's good for me to get out and do stuff! But I agree with you that an older sibling is the best "class" ever!

Did your younger LO(s) participate in any baby classes their first year?

With DS1 we tried music class, gymboree, and swimming (every winter).

Not as motivated to sign up for classes with DS2 since he has a built in playmate, but figured I should look into classes with babies his own age too.
