My baby started playing with them around 6.5 months. They are a bit sharp on the corners so I watch her carefully when she plays with them but she loves them!

We have Uncle Goose blocks, I started letting LO hold individual blocks at 5 months. Now that he's 6.5 months, I stack them up and have been showing him how to knock them over since he's finally sitting up unassisted.

@matador84: I bought them! You're right, it'll be worth it! I would have regretted not getting them. Plus they've been on my Wishlist since before DD was even born!

@crumbs! Yay! They are crafted really well and also very tightly packed in a flat box. Shouldn't take up too much space luckily and well worth it!

I've been contemplating on getting them but they don't sell them here, so I'd have to buy them when we visit the States and dedicate precious luggage space or send them myself. Actually, I can find them on AmazonUK for £50 (~$80)!! but it's a 3rd party seller and they don't ship to Sweden. For that much money, I can buy 2 back home and ship them and still be cheaper!

You helped convinced me it's worth lugging at least 1 set back :)

I am so excited about them! The number ones are so fun. They have trains and skyscrapers on them too...I had never seen them before! Yay! Just a short while longer!

We don't have them, but I never listen to he age guidelines. I thought I would.... but as long as its not tiny parts so she can choke or it can hurt her I give lo things to play with. I just make sure to keep an eye on her.

Our girls played with the blocks in different ways at different ages.

Lala got uncle goose blocks for her first Christmas at 7/8 months. At first she enjoyed chewing on them and hitting them together. At about 1 yr to 15 months she began to stack 2 blocks. Now at 2.5 she uses them to make elaborate structures. We also use the Spanish blocks as flash cards and now we use blocks to spell in English.

I think they are useful at any age!

Ds got some for Christmas in English, Spanish and numbers. I can't wait to play with them with him but I think he's too young (5 months). They say age 2 on the package. When did your LO start playing with their blocks?
