I never even thought of changing them when we got our house a few months ago. I like them for now and never thought about it until your question. Although DH wants darker wood floors someday and I'm not sure what would go with that.</p> <p>ETA: Ok, I guess I was lying. I just looked at them and some match the actual wood color and some are a brown color to match the tiles in the room. But still, they don't stand out very much. I have no idea what color to replace them with. It seems like wood vent covers that match the color of your floor is a popular choice. I also like the idea of metal, but I'm not sure if it would stick out too much. What do you have, and do you like it? </p>
