Daycare takes him out twice a day during the week - last year when he was in the infant room they bundled them up and took them for walks in the stroller, this year they send them out to the playground - so that's great (I assume there's a below zero point at which they won't send them, but I'm not exactly sure what point that is). On the weekends we're not so great about going outside if the weather isn't nice, it's mostly just to and from the car, but if it's sunny even if cold I'm going to make a real effort to go for a walk or go play in the snow or something this winter.

It doesn't always happen, but on days off (twice a week), we do a semi outdoor activity (often the zoo, they have indoor and outdoor areas, so we can walk and then warm up.)

We walk to go most places, so at least that. I also air the house out everyday and she gets plenty of exercise inside! I always choose an outdoor activity given the chance.

We try every day, daycare is really good about getting them out at the peak warm time when possible, even if just a few minutes to run around and burn off some energy.

During the week - DD (2.5) goes out side every day it is safe too at Daycare, which is great and takes some pressure off me.

I have made a list of indoor activity locations nearby - but my goal will be to "play" outside at least one afternoon each weekend!

Like @regberadaisy: our daily schedule outside of daycare time is basically pick ups and drop offs!

DD2 is due in March...so no plans to get her too involved!

We both WOH FT so some days it's literally just the time getting in and out of the car. :/

ETA: DD1 does go out daily at daycare and it's been nice enough that the 15m old has even gone for walks this winter!

how much fresh air/outdoor time does your LO(s) get during the winter season?

I'm trying to very conscious about getting them (even the 5 month old) out of the house for fresh air and activity when we can. We've been lucky enough that it hasn't gotten too cold yet and we've had some really warm days too.

I really hope I can keep it up throughout this winter season, even if it's only for five minutes!
