My grandma made such a big deal out of it, in a good way! I think I'm one of the only women who actually enjoy being called ma'am and I don't understand why some people get so offended. What would you rather be called? I first started getting it from strangers when I was doing adult errands solo- the grocery clerk, the bank teller etc. would all call me that as young as 18/19!
