The town is so quaint and we at at the best little restaurant (2 Al's on the Beach). We didn't get a chance to try out any of the other restaurants, but we plan on going back next year and will definitely try them out then!</p> <p>As for beaches, we visited Alligator Point, Carrabelle, and Mashes Sands beaches. I liked Carrabelle for the retro vibe, but Alligator Point was much quieter. I love it. We go during "pensacola pride" so we go to events related to that, so I don't have great recommendations for restaurants but it's a family friendly little island with lots of options. We stay in the gulf breeze area, which is quiet and less expensive than staying on the beach strip. I guess it's technically part of Pensacola, but it's not highly commercialized. We ate in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
