We used it in our wedding, others have used in their weddings, and just last Saturday used it for DD's 1st birthday. He used plywood and bought trim from Lowes/ HD. Then he painted it with chalkboard paint -quite a few coats! Then my friend made the art part with chalk pens; which btw does not erase! She designed it on the computer and printed in via Photoshop.
