Actually, my mom used to make me bentos (or "doshirak" in Korean) too. She stopped making them once I hit 4th grade because I was too embarrassed to bring them to school. I wanted PBJ sandwiches like all of my friends! My friends would make fun of me for bringing rice and seaweed. I thought DH would think I was nuts for packing bentos for LO but he is totally on board. Maybe because he is Japanese and bentos were a part of his childhood? He even helps occasionally and packs them when I'm too tired! </p>
