He doesn't nurse for very long now, at 16 months. Sometimes he falls asleep in my arms after, sometimes I lay him down awake. She's not fully asleep when I lay her down these days. She had to be up until about 7 months. Then she learned how to self soothe. LO 3(almost 12 months) does not nurse in the MOTN anymore so I usually feed her after dinner before bathtime. I used to feed her right before bedtime when she took a long time to nurse! I like doing it after dinner because I hate feeling rushed with my other two kids...they can play or clean up while I'm busy. </p>
