At this point they could probably do without nursing and just go to sleep after a cup of milk? But we have never tried that. My ILs did or my kids to bed when we went to a wedding when they were 10 weeks old. They took a bottle that night, and were used to that because we supplemented. Our nanny put her to bed once at 8 months with a bottle. DH did it one other time when I had a late work event around 7 months. But, otherwise I never left her around bedtime until she was over a year and less dependent on nursing to sleep. One time I ran out for a mani/pedi after I put him down and he woke up so dh has to give him a bottle. But I haven't missed a bedtime yet! </p>
