I nurse to sleep sometimes with my 2 month old but we try to give one bottle a day, and it's usually that last bottle so it's just as likely to be DH feeding her.

And I'd say 40% of the time she wakes back up and we have to put her down to sleep with just a paci anyway.

I nurse to sleep every night but there have been a few times when my husband or a sitter has put her to bed with a bottle and she does fine. I always worrY it will be a disaster but it always goes off without a hitch!

I actually don't nurse my twins all the way to sleep anymore at almost 18 months, but I did until after a year and nursing is still part of our bedtime routine. At this point they could probably do without nursing and just go to sleep after a cup of milk? But we have never tried that. My ILs did or my kids to bed when we went to a wedding when they were 10 weeks old. They took a bottle that night, and were used to that because we supplemented. Other than that one night, I've done all their bedtime.

Pretty much never. Our nanny put her to bed once at 8 months with a bottle. DH did it one other time when I had a late work event around 7 months. But, otherwise I never left her around bedtime until she was over a year and less dependent on nursing to sleep. If I put her to bed now at 20 months she wants to nurse, but she's totally fine with DH putting her to bed now even if I'm home.

How often has someone else put the baby down with a bottle if ever?

Ds is just over three months old and I have yet to have someone else do a bottle at nighttime. One time I ran out for a mani/pedi after I put him down and he woke up so dh has to give him a bottle. But I haven't missed a bedtime yet!
