Thanks, all. Maybe I should see if he is still hungry for solids even right after nursing so I can eat my breakfast with him :)

8 months, and he wakes up at 8:00, bottle at 8:30, then we do solids around 9:00 or 9:30.

I usually drink my tea and eat something while he's playing, in between bottle and solids. Once he starts eating more table food, I think I'll eat with him in our dining area.

My LO is a bit older (16 months), but we now do:
6:30 wake up and nurse
7:00 he eats breakfast at the table and I have coffee
8:00 I'll eat my breakfast while he plays/begs for bites of my breakfast!

Is your dining room far away from your living room? either way, I wouldn't worry too much about it yet!

Our mornings look roughly like this:

LO wakes up, nurses immediately.

LO plays for 30-45 minutes while mama gets dressed, makes coffee, gets breakfast ready, etc.

LO eats breakfast while I drink my coffee/ get bottles ready for daycare/ maybe eat breakfast too. She sits at the table, and I usually sit with her, though I may be up at the counter to get things ready.

LO is off to daycare, takes a quick nap, then eats a bottle (approx. 3 hours after she woke up and nursed)

My LO is 8 months old, and this works well for us. She is still hungry for solids, even after nursing, and she will usually eat a big breakfast. She actually eats more for breakfast than at any other time.

Xander wakes up between 5:30 and 6:30 to nurse. Sometimes he'll go back to sleep after and sometimes he's up for the day. Then I'll have breakfast while he sleeps or plays and then he gets breakfast around 8:00. Then he might nurse before his next nap.

D wakes up anywhere between 6:30 and 7:30 and I nurse him. Typically he takes a little cat nap in our bed while I either snooze next to him or get up and start working (I work from home). Usually 8-8:30 he wakes up and we get up, get him all dressed and ready for the day. We head into the kitchen/dinette (one big room) and I plop his butt in the highchair and get my breakfast together while I get his breakfast together. He eats oatmeal with fruit mixed in while I have whatever looks good and coffee  After we eat, D digests for a while and and then plays until nap time while I pump for his dinner oatmeal.

ETA: D is a bit over 5 months

On a typical day:

7:00- wake/bottle
8:30- breakfast
10:00- bottle/nap

We play in between meals and wait until after nap to get dressed.
I'm horrible about eating breakfast so I rarely eat with him. The only meal we eat as a family is dinner.

LO wakes up around 8 these days. I usually get up and get dressed before that. I go get her when she's up and I nurse her. She STTN so she's hungry in the AM. She'll nurse for about a half an hour. Since it's getting late at this point, she gets breakfast right after. She eats in her high chair at the table so I can sit and eat my breakfast too. On days she gets up earlier, we'd definitely play in between but I usually wait to eat until she's having her breakfast. ETA she's 12 months

She wakes up around 615/630 and nurses, then I either put her back in her crib to play while I snooze for 15 more minutes or so or we kinda play & giggle in bed for about 10 minutes. Just depends on how she slept that night. Then we change her diaper & she plays in her exersaucer while I have a few cups of coffee, a banana & check various things on my phone. Then I cook my breakfast, get her things together & we have breakfast together around 715/730. Then she gets dressed, we go brush our teeth & I get dressed & ready & it's nap time.
ETA: She will be 6 months on the 12th.

I nurse A as soon as he wakes up in the morning and usually give him a snack sometime in the morning before his first nap. I am starving when I wake up, though, and can't wait until his snack time to eat my breakfast so I usually eat my breakfast in the living room while he plays. I really want to break this habit, though, and start eating at the dining room table more. I just don't think he would be hungry for his snack right after he nurses.

So I was just wondering what others' routines are in the morning if you are doing milk/formula and solids. Also, do you try to sit at the table as a family as opposed to camping out in the living room? Until we had LO, we used our dining room table about twice a year, but I am trying to teach him good habits. :)
