But DD was only 8 months and didn't have much immunity against any bugs yet. And anyway, I don't think Tamiflu helps as much once there are symptoms. DS on the other hand, took it before he had a fever - he had a flu shot, but he was starting to look a little flushed and seemed sick also. For the kids it's always less than 24 hours after starting the meds that fever breaks. For my husband it was 48 hours, but he didn't go in to the doctor as quickly as I take the kids.
